Varicocelectomy (varicocele surgery)

Varicocelectomy is a type of surgery to remove the varicocele and restore proper blood flow to the reproductive organs. Varicocele is the accumulation of swollen and enlarged veins in the scrotum or scrotum. Varicocele can interfere with the production of semen and lead to infertility in men by disrupting drainage and draining blood flow to the testicles.

How does varicocele affect the scrotum?

When a person develops varicocele in the scrotum or scrotum, it blocks the proper flow of blood to the reproductive organs. The scrotum is a sac in which the testicles are located. Varicocele prevents blood from returning to the heart through the scrotal veins or scrotum. As a result, blood collects inside the veins of the scrotum or scrotum, causing the veins in the scrotum to enlarge and dilate. This can reduce the number of sperm produced in the testicles.
